Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily, adhering to facility procedures and schedules.
- Guest Privacy and Respect: Respect guests' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal items, knocking before entering guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Facilities Maintenance: Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors according to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
- Supply Management: Ensure housekeeping supplies remain out of reach of guests at all times and take appropriate actions to secure them.
- Waste Disposal: Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Safety Protocols: Post signs indicating a safety hazard when housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards to guests, associates, visitors, or others in the facility.
- Laundry Assistance: Assist with laundry as needed.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: One year of experience as a housekeeper preferred or acceptable exemption required.
