Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Client Service Specialist to join our team in Kansas City, MO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and providing exceptional support to our internal service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and renewal process of employee benefit programs by gathering information, submitting it to carriers, and preparing proposals for clients.
  • Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) for review by senior service team members, make edits, distribute RFPs to insurance carriers, ensure timely responses, and summarize proposals for review.
  • Support sales and service teams with presentation materials and communicate daily with insurance companies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proper account administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Ability to acquire state-specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license within three months of hire.
