Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Therapist to join our team at YAI. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of behavioral support plans and collaborating with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement behavioral support plans in accordance with BACB guidelines
  • Provide supervision and training to RBTs and Lead RBTs
  • Collaborate with the BCBA Director to ensure clinical needs are being addressed
  • Attend and participate in weekly/monthly clinical review
  • Contribute to the agenda and provide training as necessary
  • Assume clinical responsibilities of Lead RBT in their absence
  • Delegate and/or assume clinical responsibilities of any Lead RBT vacancies
  • Take an active role in interviewing and hiring process of RBT and Lead RBT
  • Provide opportunities and encourage professional development of staff within the home
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of developmental disabilities and clinical syndromes
  • Knowledge of California's Lanterman Act and Title 17 regulation and the use of restraint
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience training, coaching, and mentoring RBTs
  • Exceptional communication and training skills
  • Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills
  • Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a stressful environment
