Educational Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fall River Public Schools. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing audiologic services to students with special needs.
About the Job:
This is a full-time position that involves conducting audiometric tests, developing and implementing IEPs, and providing speech and language therapy on an individual or group basis.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audiometric tests to assess hearing thresholds and speech perception abilities.
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
- Consult regularly with regular and special education teachers regarding ways to meet the needs of those special needs students assigned to the classrooms.
- Provide speech and language therapy on an individual or group basis.
- Serve as a consultant to teachers in the area of speech and language for students who are enrolled in regular special classes; pre-referral services are included.
- Report the progress of the student to the parent, teacher, and other concerned personnel on a scheduled basis.
- Submit reports and schedules as required.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current MA DESE license as a Speech Therapist.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of child development and learning theories.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Salary:$70,000 - $100,000 per year
