Key Responsibilities
  • Care Management: Provide supervision to support staff, attend patient team conferences, and determine follow-up outpatient therapy needs.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record.
  • Education: Act as a resource person for peers and other departments, providing educational opportunities and mentoring.
  • Patient Care: Evaluate and treat patients without a physician order or referral, assist with discharge planning, and review patient history prior to initiating evaluation.
  • Compliance/Safety: Report safety-related incidents, attend safety training programs, and ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Certification & Licensures: Current license in the state of Arizona and BLS certification.
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience in area of specialty.
