Civil Construction Inspector

Venture Global LNG is a leading provider of liquefied natural gas, and we are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Inspector to join our team.

The Civil Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This will involve inspecting construction sites, verifying that work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications, and identifying and reporting any non-conformities.

• Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes
• Verify that contract work is performed in accordance with approved standards
• Monitor construction sites for safety violations and prepare Non-Conformance Reports as necessary
• Review and prepare interim progress reports for contractor payments
• Coordinate technical inspections, including electrical, mechanical, and soil testing
• May allocate inspection resources and supervise inspectors

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Approximately five (5) years of experience as a Building Inspector of large commercial or industrial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
