As an Exercise Physiologist Cardiac Rehab Specialist at WVU Medicine, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in providing comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation services.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 8. The shift details will be discussed during the interview process. As an Exempt/Non-Exempt employee, you will be part of our United States of America (Non-Exempt) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing exercise programs and education for all phases of cardiac rehabilitation of cardiac and pulmonary patients. You will provide care, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of exercise programs, and complete all required feedback and communication to patient and healthcare team.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Must possess knowledge in working with patients at risk for or with known cardiopulmonary disease.
- Must possess advanced knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, cardiac risk factors, and behavioral modification strategies, counseling.
The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
