Job Description:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment, such as computed tomography (CT) scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate medical imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of the body
- Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide emotional support as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography or CT
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
