Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Services team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to patient education, and provide support to patients and families throughout the surgical process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a surgical services setting.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
