Job Title: Substitute Cook/Cashier

Clear Creek Amana Community School District is seeking a Substitute Cook/Cashier to join our team.

Job Summary

The Substitute Cook/Cashier will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to students. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food according to recipes and procedures.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and perform tasks in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory and record keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
