About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the processing of medications for all patients and appropriate patient care areas under the direct supervision of pharmacists.

You will ensure an ongoing and efficient pharmacy department by maintaining a neat and clean dispensing area, performing daily routine tasks, and assisting pharmacists with compounding, preparing, labeling, or dispensing drugs used to fill medication orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the processing of medications for all patients and appropriate patient care areas.
  • Maintain a neat and clean dispensing area, adhering to pharmacy standards.
  • Perform daily routine tasks as necessary in the pharmacy department.
  • Assist pharmacists with compounding, preparing, labeling, or dispensing drugs used to fill medication orders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 12 months of prior pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy training program.
  • Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB).
  • NYS Pharmacy Technician Licensure and Registration.
