POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales culture, where our core values guide all store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and maximizing profitability.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Results Orientation

  • Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection based on customer preferences.
  • Keeps informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual standards.
  • Ensures proper handling and presentation of merchandise, adhering to loss prevention protocols and other directives from Management.
  • Engages in visual merchandising tasks, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated zones.
Customer Experience

  • Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Addresses customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensures a swift and efficient checkout process, staying updated on policies regarding payments, returns, and other operational practices.
  • Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions.
  • Enrolls clients in loyalty programs.
  • Cultivates and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Remains knowledgeable about current product offerings and fit in-store and online.
  • Maintains consistent communication with clients through a customer book.
Operational Excellence

  • Aids in replenishment efforts to keep the store well-stocked.
  • Assists with locating merchandise for customers.
  • Supports visual merchandising initiatives, including floor sets and signage placement as directed.
  • Contributes to maintaining boutique cleanliness and organization.
Team Collaboration and Development

  • Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively seeks personal development opportunities and welcomes constructive feedback.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

This role may be found across various brands, and specific duties may differ by brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for meeting company objectives; flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of an 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of an 8-hour shift).
