Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) ATLANTIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned engineering projects from cradle to grave, providing guidance and direction on engineering project scope, requirements, and funding, and serving as the Navy Technical Representative (NTR) under the COTR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and scope.
  • Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, including design and analysis of electrical systems.
  • Review plans and designs prepared by Professional Engineers to ensure conformance with Navy and DoD criteria and contract scope.
  • Serve as the Navy Technical Representative (NTR) under the COTR, providing guidance and direction on engineering project scope, requirements, and funding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • At least one year of specialized experience as a professional civil engineer at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience in reviewing submittals, using electrical engineering software, and analyzing engineering work to provide solutions to complex engineering and construction problems.
