Position Overview
Abacus Technology Corporation is in search of a dedicated Cyber Security Specialist to deliver security and information assurance services for cloud-based solutions. This role is essential for supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of Azure cloud applications through comprehensive scan and patch management, strategic cyber security planning, policy formulation, and auditing.
- Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM-O) in developing and upholding all necessary documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical artifacts to secure and sustain the Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Engage in various cyber security initiatives such as incident response, vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and the creation of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security and information assurance. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required. Candidates must possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, such as CISSP, CASP+ CE, or CISA, along with a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ104) certification or higher. Proficiency in cyber security tools like ACAS, HBSS/ESS, and eMASS is essential. Familiarity with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the NIST 800 series framework is expected. Candidates should have experience in conducting IT audits, ensuring compliance, and implementing security policies and measures.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a current Secret clearance.
