BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a PRN basis. We focus on delivering rehabilitation services in the comfort of our clients' environments, whether at home, in the community, or at work.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are in search of a skilled SLP who is passionate about providing practical rehabilitation solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients in real-life scenarios, enhancing their recovery experience beyond traditional clinical settings. You should be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a diverse team of therapists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies and participate in team meetings and family discussions.
- Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, along with educational resources.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team, patients, and their families regarding progress and needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A valid Speech Language Pathology license in the applicable state(s).
- Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
- At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in the movement of patients, which may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Duties may require frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.
- A health screening may be necessary to ensure physical capability to perform assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
