Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Supervisor to lead our Workers Compensation Claims unit. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in claims management and be able to inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to Claims Specialists and Assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Claims Management: Oversee the timely completion of performance reviews, provide monetary approval authority, and maintain selected files on personal diary.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation between claims personnel and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, complete projects on time and budget, and manage project team activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with five or more years of progressive technical claim experience demonstrating a high degree of judgment and discretion.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to coach and develop team members, and working knowledge of Labor Code and workers compensation claims handling.
