Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist - Operating Room to join our team at Trusted Resource Associates (TRA). This is a travel nursing opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona.

About the Job

This 13-week contract offers 40 hours of work per week, with an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating room procedures and be able to lead and supervise clinical staff effectively.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Specialist - Operating Room will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients on a per-shift basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with the facility's Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure clinical staff competency and effective resource management
- Leading and supervising clinical staff to provide safe and effective patient care
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient information and medication administration

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Current state licensure or registration as per state laws
- Specialty certifications as required (must meet certification requirements for each supported nursing specialty)
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
