About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facilities, including sweeping, cleaning floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables. Additionally, you will ensure that all areas of the facility meet or exceed company standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following all safety standards and procedures
  • Clean all areas of the facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles
  • Respond to spills and other incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment as needed
  • Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with company environmental sustainability programs
  • Ensure adequate levels of approved chemicals and supplies are maintained
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred
