Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to provide emotional support and physical assistance to our clients, with a focus on dignity and respect. This role requires a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication reminders and management
  • Support clients with mobility issues, including transfers and ambulation
  • Prepare and serve meals, as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or safety concerns
  • Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being

Requirements:

  • Previous caregiving experience, preferably in a hospice or home care setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic English language skills and high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers
  • Pass a comprehensive background check and reference check
