- Staff Supervision and Education: Supervise and educate staff members on proper care techniques and protocols.
- Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and care provided, and communicate effectively with families, responsible parties, and other healthcare providers.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of a practical nursing program and licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Minnesota.
- Experience: Experience in home care or assisted living is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and carry out directions and instructions; ability to function independently; good health status and emotional stability.
This position involves working in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds. The position also involves exposure to infectious wastes, toxic chemicals, and needles/body fluids.
