Job Summary:

We are seeking a committed Truck Driver to become a vital part of our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with the operation of a truck and lowboy trailer, managing oversized equipment configurations, and proficiently loading and unloading machinery. Prior experience in heavy haul operations within a construction setting is highly regarded. Your responsibilities will include the transportation of oversized loads while adhering to all permit requirements and safety regulations. Additionally, you may assist in loading and relocating equipment using tilt deck and lowboy trailers. Comprehensive training will be available for operating other vehicles and configurations as necessary. When not driving, you will support the organization of equipment and parts at the J. Cumby Construction facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Safely operate the truck to specified locations
  • Perform equipment inspections during transit to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Effectively load and unload machinery
  • Assist in the organization of equipment and perform shop duties
  • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
