Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for trimming, topping, and reshaping trees, as well as using chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears, and clippers to cut away dead and excess branches.

Responsibilities

• Trim, top, and reshape trees to maintain their health and appearance
• Use chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears, and clippers to cut away dead and excess branches
• Transplant and remove trees and shrubs
• Split logs
• Operate chipping equipment
• Inspect trees for disease or pest problems

Requirements

• At least two years of professional tree climbing experience
• Basic knowledge of tree care principles, cabling, pruning techniques, tree ID, and disease ID
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent safety record and commitment to safety protocols
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently

Pay Range

$32.00 per hour
