PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Mortgage Technology Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the technical and functional aspects of all Mortgage systems and their associated third-party integrations. This position is dedicated to supporting, developing, managing, and implementing innovative technologies and solutions that drive efficiency within the business unit. Acts as a primary liaison for all system-related initiatives, collaborating closely with various departments and vendors to address the needs associated with Mortgage systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following duties are essential to this role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Provides expert guidance to the business unit regarding software and technology upgrades, installations, maintenance, support, and optimization.
  • Works in partnership with Mortgage leadership to identify and implement enhancements that improve user experience and increase member value while minimizing friction and effort.
  • Oversees all system modifications and is accountable for testing and validation processes.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of both long-term and short-term objectives for all Mortgage systems.
  • Acts as the escalation point for critical application issues.
  • Ensures that regulatory compliance requirements are tested and implemented in accordance with secondary market and credit union standards.
  • Manages user permissions and access based on roles within the mortgage systems.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources for ongoing system improvements and maintenance.
  • Collaborates with Mortgage leaders to keep employees informed about enhancements or changes and their implications for the department.
  • Assists in the creation, revision, and updating of procedures and policies related to Mortgage systems, software, and products.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to leverage technology to enhance or automate existing processes utilized by the business unit.
  • Maintains records of all work, achievements, backlog items, and system modifications.
  • Contributes to the internal product roadmap by considering process improvements and system enhancements that collectively deliver greater value.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred: College degree or technical training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with Loan Origination Systems (Encompass preferred), including familiarity with financial institution software programs.
  • Previous experience in the Mortgage sector is preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Strong focus on customer service and relationship management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Capability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to pursuing further education to meet business needs.
  • Must be bondable.
