About the Role:

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Store Cashier I to join our team. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area, as well as a clean and organized merchandise display.
  • Prioritize tasks according to store and management needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders and coworkers to achieve team goals.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
  • Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
  • Cash handling skills preferred.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
