Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Supervisor to oversee and coordinate productions and daily assembly activities at WesternScott Fetzer. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the organization's policies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of line leads and assembly personnel to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Develop and implement production planning concepts to meet delivery dates and quality standards.
  • Drive process improvements in areas of responsibility, including cycle time improvements and cost-cutting measures.
  • Identify, analyze, and solve issues related to assembly processes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and schedule personnel and activities to meet changing conditions and ensure compliance with safety procedures and rules.
  • Implement and monitor productivity improvements, and ensure effective training programs are maintained and documented.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and sustaining a safety program and culture.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in operations, including medical or industrial assembly activities, and supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • High degree of personal integrity and outstanding work ethic.
  • Associate degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant industry and job experience.
Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a fast-paced assembly manufacturing environment, with moderate levels of noise and temperature-controlled office and manufacturing areas. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required within the facility.
