Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a Full-time Certified Nurse Aide for our Assisted Living Facility and Memory Care Unit located in Suffolk, VA.

Responsibilities:- Provide direct consumer care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and assisting with medication under the direction of the RN, LPN, and Pharmacist.
- Document progress and activities, tasks performed, and response to care.
- Report any consumer condition changes to the RN and Program Supervisor.
- Serve as a role model, provide guidance, and assist with medication management.
- Transport consumers as necessary.
- Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record.
- Long term Care experience preferred.
- Proficient using Electronic medical records.
- Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred.
- $43,000 - $54,000 per year based on experience.

- Evening 3p-11p and Overnight 11p-7am. Rotating weekends required.
