Gymnastics Coach

**Job Overview:**

The Greater Austin YMCA seeks a skilled Gymnastics Instructor to lead our gymnastics programs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching students various gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced gymnastics instructor who can teach students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics or a related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with children and adults alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Gymnastics Classes: Lead engaging and challenging gymnastics classes for students of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop Lesson Plans: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student, promoting physical fitness, coordination, and self-confidence.
• Manage Equipment and Safety: Set up and take down gymnastics equipment, ensuring a safe environment for students at all times.
• Maintain Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students, keeping them informed about class schedules, progress, and any concerns.
• Assist with Events: Participate in gymnastics events, demonstrations, and other activities that promote the Y's mission and values.

Requirements:

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Gymnastics Background: Possess a strong gymnastics or cheer tumbling background.
• Instructor Experience: Previous instructor experience is preferred but not required.
• Certifications: Hold current CPR and First Aid certifications or obtain them within 30 days of employment.
• Team Player: Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:
