Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in our Pediatric ICU, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the admission and discharge processes to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Collaborating with the management team to assess and enhance the quality of care provided.
- Fostering teamwork among staff to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Emphasizing a patient-first approach and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
- Implementing nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Participating in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring optimal labor utilization.
- Overseeing inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
- A valid Texas RN license or a compact license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- A minimum of two years of recent experience as a PICU RN in an acute care setting.
