Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Operating Room. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless care.
- Assess the operating room for equipment functionality and readiness, and obtain necessary supplies for individual cases.
- Participate in performance improvement, quality assurance, and departmental meetings to drive excellence in patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a multistate compact status.
- One year of work experience in the Operating Room, preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
