Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in preparing patients for treatments, including applying supportive devices and administering modalities.
- Provide routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs, and other modalities as directed by physical therapists.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment after treatment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
- Order and maintain inventory of non-medical and medical supplies.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to clearly document projects and manage production.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Patient/client satisfaction: providing care/service that exceeds expectations.
- Energetic and a team player.
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
- Complete tasks thoroughly.
Athletico Physical Therapy provides a dynamic and supportive work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
