About the RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Garbage Truck Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanics, with a focus on heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy weight garbage trucks, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- Repair: Carry out complex repairs on heavy weight garbage trucks, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to returning them to service, guaranteeing they meet high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a mechanic is essential, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of shop equipment, airbrake systems, and mechanical aptitude is required.
- Personal Qualities: Deadline-oriented and detail-focused individuals who can work effectively in a dynamic environment are ideal candidates.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
