Job Summary


We are seeking a board certified or eligible full-time Staff Physician-Breast Imaging Radiologist to care for our Veterans at the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System.


About the Role


As a Radiology Physician, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, ultrasounds, biopsies, MRI's, and be responsible for monitoring the quality of diagnostic interpretations. You will pre-screen high-risk, high-cost, and high-demand examinations to ensure they are clinically indicated and safe.


Responsibilities


You will order CT and MRI examinations in a timely manner, thoroughly document your interpretations, procedures, and healthcare decisions in the electronic medical record. You will also examine, evaluate, and manage patients referred for radiology consultations and procedures as appropriate.
