Job Summary:

The Clinical Dietitian is a key member of the Jupiter Medical Center team, responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to patients. This role involves assessing patients' nutrition needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating and monitoring care using evidence-based guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutrition requirements
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
  • Evaluate and monitor care using evidence-based guidelines
  • Provide education to patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition-related topics
  • Work with the Diet & Nutrition Services team to provide high-quality, safe, and nutritious meals to patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Florida state licensure
  • Minimum 1-year acute-care hospital experience preferred
