Overview: Soliant is in search of a committed and proficient Communication Specialist in Speech Therapy to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering essential speech and language therapy services aimed at enhancing students' communication abilities and overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For Speech-Language Pathologists:
    • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language requirements and formulate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Develop and execute therapy strategies to address various communication challenges.
    • Collaborate with educators, special education personnel, and families to incorporate therapy objectives within the classroom setting.
    • Monitor and document students' advancements, modifying therapy approaches as necessary.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff and parents regarding effective communication techniques.
  • For Speech-Language Pathology Assistants:
    • Support the implementation of therapy strategies and facilitate individual or group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Organize and prepare therapy resources and activities.
    • Maintain precise records of therapy sessions and student progress.
    • Work collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families to reinforce therapy goals.
    • Assist in tracking and documenting student progress.

Qualifications:

  • For Speech-Language Pathologists:
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
    • Experience in an educational environment is preferred but not mandatory. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • For Speech-Language Pathology Assistants:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related discipline.
    • Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
    • Experience with children or in educational settings is preferred but not required. New graduates are welcome.

  • For Speech-Language Pathologists: Advanced proficiency in assessment and therapy planning.
