Job Summary

The University of Denver is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Emergent Digital Practices program. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for teaching a studio course in digital art/design, meeting 6 hours a week in person, grading student work, and additional time as needed for course preparation and correspondence with students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a 4-credit hour course in digital art/design, meeting twice a week, 3 hours per class
  • Grade student work and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Meet with students and provide guidance and support
Requirements
  • Masters degree in an associated field
  • Previous experience teaching emergent creative technologies in a higher education setting
  • Knowledge and experience with emergent software and/or hardware tools appropriate to the specific upper-level course
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience teaching in higher education settings, focusing on the critical use of technology in art and design
Compensation and Benefits

This position will be compensated at a rate of $4,233 per course. The University of Denver offers a range of benefits to its employees, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
