We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes.
- Recognize patient safety concerns and take appropriate action.
- Provide education to patients based on their unique learning needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practice in nursing care.
- Participate in organizational patient-centered care model.
- Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses or appropriate state board.
- Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 60 days of hire.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
The work environment at WVU Medicine is fast-paced and dynamic. As a Registered Nurse, you will be working in an inpatient hospital setting, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. You will be required to work protracted or irregular hours, and may be exposed to biohazards, infectious diseases, and other hazards associated with patient care.
