Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in Bronx, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of laboratory staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform technical and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • NYS Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
  • 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
