Job Summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a compassionate and skilled OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to join our healthcare team. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapy team to provide coordinated care to patients of all ages under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist the occupational therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care, including ROM, strength, coordination, use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues under the supervision of the OT
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans
- Collaborate with caregivers and family members to educate them on patient needs and develop strategies for support

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Associate degree in occupational therapy or related field
- State license as an occupational therapist assistant
- Current driver's license
- One year of experience as an occupational therapist assistant, preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
