Hazelett Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the R&D Engineering and Design Engineering departments, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for metals processing technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of creative product conception and development, driving innovation and improvement in Hazelett technology.
  • Diagnose and address product problems in prototyping, production, and in the field, ensuring high-quality materials for various applications.
  • Develop and direct testing of design concepts to validate designs, utilizing sound engineering principles and 2D and 3D CAD systems.
  • Provide technical support and related documentation, including project outlines, item creation, bills of material, and report preparation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on component specifications and selection, ensuring seamless integration of materials and equipment.
  • Occasionally travel domestically and internationally to commission and service casting equipment at customer sites, promoting Hazelett's cutting-edge technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in design, development, and testing.
  • Ability to lead small projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, standard design conventions, and machine design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant CAD systems.
