The Business Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the operational effectiveness and excellence of the Retail Integration business unit at Parkland. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with data analysis and coordination of Pricebook activities
  • Support fuel technical requirements for upcoming retail acquisitions
  • Contribute to general retail integration work
  • Coordinate retail training with qualified third-party vendors
  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure smooth integration into PDI
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including project plans, specifications, and timelines
  • Lead project meetings and collaborate with team members
  • Analyze business activities and trends, comparing them against service standards and best practices
  • Prepare routine reports, analyzing trends and recommending adjustments
  • Occasionally travel to acquisition locations within the United States
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience in retail, preferably convenience stores
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience working in the Retail, Oil, and/or Gas field
Physical Demands

The employee must be able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods, have a valid driver's license, and meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 20 pounds and occasional driving.
