Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at Discovery Point. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our young students to grow and learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in our students.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
- Supervise and mentor our teaching staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or child care; experience in a lead or supervisory role a plus.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
