The Role
As a Neonatal Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing specialized nursing care to newborns in NICUs or neonatal settings
• Assessing neonates' health status, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for neonates and their families
• Performing neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development
• Educating parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Current RN license
• BLS (Other certifications as required by facility)
• Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
