About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Handler to join our team at Jabil. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of material transfers into and out of our site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped by reading Customer Orders, Work Orders, shipping orders, or requisitions.
  • Assist in unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials on items or racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods and open bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse and work area by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
