Overview:


An exceptional opportunity awaits for a Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion Therapy, who is eager to deliver both technical and clinical expertise in patient care.

This role is pivotal in supporting an outpatient infusion suite focused on rheumatology.

Job Summary

Per diem / 10 hours per week

Flexible self-scheduling is available on weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package. All positions feature flexible schedules, daytime hours, and no weekend or major holiday shifts.

Responsibilities:


Under general supervision, the Infusion RN provides professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and company standards for specialty regulations.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences across various patient demographics, including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assess and manage the therapeutic needs of patients and their families.

Adheres to the Intrafusion Compliance Program, which includes the Code of Ethics, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Standards.

Plans, implements, coordinates, evaluates, and promotes continuity of care in line with established standards and practices.

Prepares and administers therapies under the guidance and supervision of a physician.

Maintains a clean and organized infusion suite.

Facilitates clinical operations and patient care effectively.

Engages in inter-professional collaboration among the Intrafusion team and practice staff.

Participates in ongoing professional development activities and stays current with infusion nursing practices.

Qualifications:

Education/Training:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross healthcare provider hands-on course).

Must fulfill continuing education requirements.

Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience is required, with at least one year of infusion therapy experience preferred.
