Job Summary: The Surgical Technician is essential in providing support during surgical operations. This role requires proficiency in maintaining aseptic conditions, preparing necessary equipment, and ensuring the availability of sterile supplies for surgical cases. Key duties include:
- Assisting in the setup and breakdown of the operating room.
- Scrubbing in and passing instruments during surgical procedures.
- Managing case preparations and supporting the surgical team as needed.
- Being available for on-call duties as per unit requirements.
Onboarding Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete a background check and health screening, including a drug test.
Qualifications- Required: Completion of a surgical technician program as mandated by state regulations.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a surgical technician role.
- Required: BLS certification.
- Preferred: Certification in Surgical Technology.
