Job Summary

The Anesthesia Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our anesthesia care team, ensuring that all equipment is clean and sterilized, and maintaining records of equipment inspections. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the anesthesia care team by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with preparing the operating room for procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of current experience or within the last three years in a comparable role.
  • PREFER: Associate or Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Knowledge and application of medical technology.

License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:

  • Maintenance of current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for HealthCare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for HealthCare workers.

Working Conditions:

This role requires manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with some occupational risk. You will be required to exert up to 50 lbs. of force and may be exposed to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
