Job Description

Transforming Lives through Comprehensive Psychological Services

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in schools. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Psychoeducational Assessments: Evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional functioning to identify areas of strength and need.
  • Provide Individual and Group Counseling: Support students with social-emotional or behavioral concerns to promote academic and social success.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Work with educators and caregivers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Contribute to the development and review of IEPs to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide timely and effective support to students in crisis.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology: A graduate degree in School Psychology is required.
  • State License or Certification: A valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist is required.
  • Experience Working with Children and Adolescents: Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is required.
