Prokatchers is currently seeking a traveling Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting opportunity.

Compensation: $2,262.00/week
Standard shift: Nights
Weekly schedule: 3x12
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the therapist will deliver services for the Respiratory Therapy Department efficiently and promptly for all age groups within the service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers therapeutic interventions as directed by the medical team.
- Documents treatment details and patient responses in their electronic medical records.
- Serves as a resource for medical personnel.
- Conducts both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic evaluations and patient monitoring.
- Provides age-appropriate care to patients.
- Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
- Maintains essential respiratory therapy documentation.
- Participates as a member of the rapid response team for cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in respiratory care within a critical care environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with procedures and techniques in Respiratory Therapy and the functionality and maintenance of respiratory devices.
- Clinical decision-making skills relevant to patient care concerning pulmonary and cardiac systems and patient age.
- Ability to interpret necessary information to assess patient needs.
- Basic computer skills.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire.
Special Requirement:
- If hired without current registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care, candidates must obtain at least the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential within 90 days of hire.
- The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be achieved within 12 months of hire.
