Job Description

  • Work with the project team to design, engineer, and construct complex projects
  • Coordinate and interface with NYSDOT and MTA to ensure timely completion
  • Develop construction means and methods, working drawings, and submittals
  • Process and track change orders, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications
  • Coordinate material and equipment deliveries, monitor subcontractor performance, and resolve engineering and construction problems
  • Contribute to effective communication between field and project teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of heavy highway/bridge construction experience
  • B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Knowledge of NYSDOT standard specifications and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification, valid driver's license, and ability to work in varying weather conditions
