Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of engineers and consultants in the planning, design, and execution of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects.
- Develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates related to ITS and electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local design regulations through thorough plan reviews.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and communicate effectively with contractors regarding project inquiries.
- Collaborate with various departments within the Maryland Transportation Authority to facilitate integrated project development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of seven years of professional engineering experience, including two years focused on Intelligent Transportation System design and project management.
